SCIENTOLOGY EXHIBIT IN CELEBRATION OF THE ARTS

BRUSSELSSUNDAY, JUNE 1, 2014

Churches of Scientology for Europe celebrate freedom of expression by hosting an exhibit of paintings, sculpture and other creative visual arts throughout April 2014 in honor of the 2nd annual World Art Day.

Works of art graced the hallways and staircases of the Brussels branch of the Churches of Scientology for Europe at Boulevard de Waterloo 100-103 this April, in a month-long tribute to creativity.

UNITED FOR AFRICA CONCERT BENEFITS CHILDREN OF GHANA

The Church of Scientology Mission of Modena organized and produced a United for Africa Concert at the Teatro Michelangelo in Modena, Italy, May 9 to raise funds for construction of new schools in Ghana.

The Church of Scientology Mission of Modena and the Association for Human Rights and Tolerance held a United for Africa benefit concert May 9 at Teatro Michelangelo to raise funds to build schools for African children who would otherwise be denied the right to education.

A study published in February 2014 in the Journal of Substance Abuse Treatment found that cocaine users admitted for drug abuse treatment in Spain suffer a fatality rate 5.1 times higher than the general population. Drug prevention volunteers from the National Church of Scientology of Spain have mobilized to tackle this situation.

Some 35 miles (57 kilometers) north of Kampala in the Luwero District of Central Uganda, villagers of the town of Wobulenzi learned an important lesson at a Scientology Volunteer Ministers seminar on conflict resolution.

The town council chairman and local teachers were among the 900 villagers who attended the program conducted by a team of Kampala-based Scientology Volunteer Ministers.
