The Scientology Volunteer Ministers Goodwill Tour is in Kumasi, the capital city of the Ashanti region of Ghana, providing assistance to the everyday lives of residents of the West African area.

The grand opening of the volunteers’ large yellow pavilion is scheduled to take place in the coming week. It will serve as a central location where they will provide one-on-one help, courses and seminars on Scientology technology to give people the tools to resolve their problems and take charge of their lives.

But the volunteers did not wait to begin their mission. They arranged to deliver workshops in various local schools, and the results of this program have already attracted attention.

A student who attended their course in Study Technology, developed by Scientology Founder L. Ron Hubbard, said, “I have been in the classroom for many years but I don’t remember anyone wanting to know why I made poor grades or don’t understand a subject.”

After the class he understood why he never really cared for school and wasn’t applying himself. “I came to realize why school was boring,” he said, “why I doze off when I sit by a book. This is really an eye-opener, and I promise I am going to became not just good in what I study now onwards but an excellent student.”

The Communication Course helped a young man “put away shyness,” and another said, “I strongly believe that this course has totally changed my life and my career and has actually given me confidence in all my endeavors.”

The Volunteer Ministers program was expressly intended for use by Scientologists and non-Scientologists alike. Anyone of any culture or creed may train as a Volunteer Minister and use these tools to help their families and communities. And all are welcome to do so.

Equipped with effective technology to resolve virtually any difficulty, Volunteer Ministers live by the motto that matter the problem, “something can be done about it.”
