Meet a Scientologist—How Scientology Helped Henri-Paul Kindoki Open Doors to a Better Life

Without self-confidence, the doors to a successful career and happy life were slammed shut. Henri-Paul Kindoki opened those doors with what he learned in Scientology. His video is one of 200 “Meet a Scientologist” videos available on the Scientology website at www.Scientology.org [3].

Talk to people for a living? Outrageous.

That’s how Henri-Paul Kindoki saw it 20 years ago, before Scientology. He was fast losing hope, watching opportunities for success or happiness fade from view—with extreme shyness and constant aches and pains foretelling a grim future.

How he gained the poise and self-confidence that turned his life around, bringing him happiness and the opportunity to help others, began at, of all places, a jazz concert.

“I was walking down the street and heard live music emanating from the doorway of a building I was passing. When I stopped to listen, I was greeted with a very friendly invitation to come inside and enjoy the music,” says Kindoki. “I looked up and saw this was the Church of Scientology Celebrity Centre of Paris. That was interesting, I thought, and I went inside.”

He noticed right away there was a lot more than music going on.

“Everyone seemed so warm and alive—I became very curious. What was it about this place?” he wondered. “Then I found out they offered personality testing. This was exactly what I needed—something to pinpoint why I was having so much trouble.”

The results of his test made sense and gave him the perspective to see what was holding him back. And when he learned about a course that would help him overcome his timidity, he was optimistic. The Communication Course he enrolled on was a turning point for him, as he gained the communication skills he needed to approach life from an entirely new level of self-confidence.

With that now under control, Kindoki wondered if there was some way Scientology could help him with his aches and pains. Feeling this bad at 26, it was hard to look forward to the future.

”I though I had inherited my aches and pains from my father who suffered from the same problem,” says Kindoki, who learned through Dianetics counseling that it was actually psychosomatic all along, as it all disappeared when he addressed the underlying mental and spiritual factors and it has never returned.

“I have a great deal to be grateful for,” says Kindoki. “I have a wonderful wife, two beautiful daughters and a healthy baby boy. And I gain tremendous satisfaction from my work.”

Kindoki loves helping children and teenagers as a tutor, and last year he took on an entirely new level of responsibility as the Community Relations Officer of the Churches of Scientology of Europe in Brussels.

“There is so much strife and dissension in the world today,” he says. “Through my work, I bring people of different beliefs, ethnic backgrounds and creeds together to work toward common goals. I want to create harmony among communities and that is what we are accomplishing.”
