Meet a Scientologist—Thomas Maib
The Church of Scientology has published its latest video June 17, 2013, on www.Scientology.org and the YouTube Scientology video channel, “Meet a Scientologist” Thomas Maib.
Thomas Maib was still attending university when he heard about Scientology—a friend brought it to his attention.
“I was very skeptical, but my curiosity was stronger,” he says. “Even as a young child I always wanted to know what was at the bottom of things. That was the reason I studied physics.”
When he looked into Scientology, it survived his critical scrutiny.
“I really found answers that I found nowhere else,” he says. “Scientology does not just have theoretical answers, it is very practical and visible in life. Through my courses in Scientology, I became so much more composed. Nothing can disconcert me and I really can understand people.”
With his increased understanding has come a greater measure of stability.
“Many unnecessary sorrows and fears simply disappeared and I have an unshakable confidence in my future, that of my family and my environment,” says Maib. “Because I reached a certainty on a spiritual basis, I can be much more confident in life and I don’t worry unnecessarily.”
The fruits of his study of Scientology are visible in every aspect of Maib’s life.
“I can apply what I learn in Scientology directly to life, in relationship to my children—we really understand each other—in relationship to my wife, to my family and also my colleagues,” he says. “Life has become very simple.”
Maib owns and operates a direct marketing and electronic data processing services company. In the course of his day-to-day work, thanks to what he has learned in Scientology, he often gets to do what he has always wanted to do—help people. It is not unusual for someone to come to Maib with a computer problem and walk out with the solution for a personal difficulty as well.
With a confidence based on a practical understanding of the mechanics of life, Maib has an optimism and enthusiasm that is contagious.
“Life is full of enjoyment,” says Maib. “You can do so much—there is so much creativity, so much communication, so much…life.”
