Church Of Scientology International
"Knowledge" Message to Appear on Youtube Homepage

                February 17, 2013

For 24 hours beginning at midnight on February 17 the Church of Scientology  “Knowledge” message will appear on YouTube’s homepage.

The ad, a 30-second version of which aired in the nation’s largest markets during the Super Bowl, is part of the Church’s long-term goal of increasing public awareness of the Scientology religion and to let people know where they can find information. This is the same ad that has aired in prime time on major TV networks and appears throughout the Internet. We are pleased with the overwhelming positive response to its positive message to “dare to think for yourself, to look for yourself, to make up your own mind.”

With more than 30 new Ideal Scientology Churches opened in major metropolitan areas, our first in 2013 opened in Cambridge, Ontario, last week and many more scheduled in the coming year. The Scientology religion has been expanding at a faster pace than at any time in its history. The Church’s online media program is designed to respond to the increasing interest in the religion.

The Church of Scientology YouTube channel was launched in 2008 and contains hundreds of videos providing answers on Scientology beliefs and practices as well as information on the many humanitarian programs sponsored by the Church.
