Church of Scientology London Holds Open House in Honor of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee

Visitors to London for the June 3 Thames Jubilee Pageant honoring the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee found hospitality, refreshments and respite from the driving rain and unseasonably cold temperatures at the daylong open house at the 146 Queen Victoria Street home of the Church of Scientology London.

The Church is located just blocks from the Thames where the royal barge, The Spirit of Chartwell, carrying Queen Elizabeth II, the Duke of Edinburgh and other members of the Royal Family, was the centerpiece of the 1,000-boat procession to honor the Queen’s 60 years as monarch.

Visitors to the Church’s open house enjoyed refreshments, and were invited to tour the Church’s Public Information Center containing more than 500 information videos that form a concise overview of the Scientology religion and the life and legacy of Scientology Founder L. Ron Hubbard. Videos also cover the many humanitarian programs the Church sponsors.
