“Our door is always open and there is always someone to talk to” at the Church of Scientology in the city of Poole.

On the southwest coast of England designated as a UNESCO Heritage Site for its magnificent Jurassic rock formations, in a county whose picturesque landscapes are Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, in the heart of the city of Poole on November 24, a sunny Sunday afternoon, hundreds of well-wishers gathered to welcome the Scientology Mission of Dorset to the city.

 

“Our purpose is to create a space where anyone can come in and get help with improving any part of their life, using the spiritual technology developed by L. Ron Hubbard,” said Mission Director Debbie Corney, who officiated the grand opening.

“Whether you feel you want to improve your communication, your self-confidence, prepare for a marriage or know how to help your children, we have answers for you.”

Ms. Corney described the Mission as a place where “the door is always open and there is always someone to talk to, whenever you need a listening ear. Whether you feel you want to improve your communication, your self-confidence, prepare for a marriage or know how to help your children, we have answers for you,” she said. “This space is for all of us.”

 

Just off the High Street in the center of Poole, the Scientology Mission of Dorset is equipped with every facility needed to provide the full array of introductory Scientology services, from the Personal Efficiency Course to the Hubbard Dianetics Seminar, held every weekend, to the full array of Life Improvement Courses.

Those who are curious and wish to find out about Scientology are welcome to visit the Mission, where they may watch the programs of the Scientology Network or visit the Mission’s multimedia display containing over 100 videos that answer visitors’ questions on the life of Mr. Hubbard, the basic principles of the Scientology religion, and Church-supported humanitarian and social betterment campaigns. 

 

The new Mission also offers seminars on a wide range of topics, including personal efficiency. The Hubbard Dianetics Seminar is based on Mr. Hubbard’s watershed work Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health, the best-selling book that reveals the source of one’s nightmares, unreasonable fears and irrational behavior—the reactive mind—and how to conquer it.

There are course rooms for the popular Life Improvement Courses through which anyone may find workable solutions to common challenges of everyday life—such as how to improve a marriage, successfully raise children, increase personal motivation, and set and achieve goals.

The mission is also equipped with rooms for delivery of Dianetics and Scientology spiritual counseling known as auditing and a center for the Purification Program, developed by Mr. Hubbard to free individuals from the mental and spiritual damage caused by drugs and toxins.
