They were joined by Volunteer Ministers from abroad who have continued to provide relief to help the country recover.

Scientologists in Kaohsiung organized human rights activities in December in observance of the 64th anniversary of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The programs were co-sponsored by the Church of Scientology and the Kaohsiung Chapter of Youth for Human Rights.
